How to Apply to a University in the UK:

Undergraduate students

If you are applying for a Bachelor’s degree in the UK, you will need to submit your application using the UCAS application website. For this you will need to:

  • Register then create an application on the British University page
  • You can apply for a maximum of 5 programs. This can be at one university or at different ones in the UK
  • Fill in your personal details
  • Add your previous educational qualifications
  • Include financial details
  • You will need to write a personal statement
  • There are some universities that need additional tests like the UCAT or BMAT for students applying to Medicine.

It is possible to save your application and then return to it, prior to submitting it.

Postgraduate students

  • If you are applying for a Master’s or Ph.D. program, you are able to apply directly to the selected university. Many universities let students submit their applications throughout the year, however, certain degree courses do have particular deadlines.
